阿莫的老家邻居就是做belacan的，
小时候闻belacan闻大的，
也是看邻居制作belacan看大的。

可能看习惯了，闻习惯了，
也没有比较过，
家里吃的belacan都是直接跟邻居买的，
所以从来就不知道原来邻居的belacan是非常tok kong的。
直到上大学，随便买几包送给爱烹饪的朋友，
接下来她就一直拜托阿莫帮她买了，
她说阿莫送的belacan太香了，

再后来工作后，
也同样的送了几包给老板和同事，
从此以后，阿莫变得很忙，
老板的亲戚，同事的朋友通通都拜托阿莫买，
每次回新加坡，行李袋一打开，
都是够力醇厚的belacan香气�

这makcik是邻居的工人兼徒弟，
自从邻居过世不在了，
她就自己在住家做些belacan出售，
虽然地点在非常山卡拉的地方，
可是依然有很多人慕名而来，
就是特地来买她制作的belacan。
